UCC announce $10k tournament

UCC have announced Hellcase Cup 2 which will offer $10,000 in cash prizes.

The online tournament will start on January 20 with a 256-team open qualifier which will have a best-of-one, single-elimination bracket. Two teams will advance to the closed qualifier.

Six invited and two qualified squads will square off in a best-of-three, single-elimination bracket in the closed stage and two teams will earn a spot at Hellcase Cup 2's main stage.

iGame.com will attend Hellcase Cup 2 

The main stage will split two teams from the closed qualifier and six invited teams into groups of four. After the round-robin, best-of-three group stage that will run from February 6-11, the top two teams from both groups will advance to the playoffs. iGame.com is the first invited team that will participate in Hellcase Cup 2.

The playoffs will have a single elimination, best-of-three format and there will also be a third place decider game. The champions will take home $6,000. The full prize distribution can be found below:
